Fiona Frank has a wealth of knowledge
to impart to any group about the talented artist Hannah Frank. Her enthusiastic
appreciation of her aunt's haunting draughtsmanship and fine tactile sculpture
is accompanied by an ample ability to communicate in an engaging and informative
way, sharing her knowledge generously. You will be in for an absorbing talk and
an enlightening experience. Wish I could be there too...

Your address to Probus on the artist "Hannah Frank" was
regarded by most people as being one of our best meetings. Being surrounded by
all the illustrated panels from previous exhibitions and the examples of Hannah's
works meant that the atmosphere was uniquely palpable.
Your delivery
was bright and interesting. Regrettably the constriction upon time meant that
you were unable to expand upon some of the examples you quoted. It is a salutary
result to know that your audience would have been happy with more rather than
less.

I write to
thank you most sincerely for what can only be described as the fabulous afternoon
which you gave to us on 27th October.
The surprise arrival of and
the standing ovation given to the guest star will never be forgotten. What a delightful
little lady your Aunt Hannah is apart from her outstanding skill as an artist,
sculptor and poet. I loved her couthy comments as she sat beside me.
Her
presence did not however detract from the excellent portrayal of her copious work
which you delivered with such devotion and personal charm.
Norman S McAlister, Honorary Secretary, Mearns Probus Club, October 2004
